Service Boot BCT 2040 in Desert Sandy Waxy Commander
You must log in to add items to your wishlist.
Built on Viberg's 2040 last, the Service Boot features a military-inspired silhouette with a low heel and subtle toe contour. Originally crafted in 1931, this timeless design draws from standard-issue military boot patterns. The minimalist construction highlights the quality of the raw materials and craftsmanship. The BCT (Brogue Capped Toe) model adds a brogued panel at the toe, offering an elegant balance between rugged workwear and formality.
This iteration features C.F. Stead's rugged Waxy Commander tannage. The Commander leather is a heavyweight waxed suede that undergoes a special curing process to shrink and tighten the fiber structure, making it exceptionally tough, durable, and water-resistant. The leather's waxy finish and high pull-up allow for a slow, rich development. The boot comes anchored with a Ridgeway sole fused with a natural leather midsole and Viberg's signature stitch-down construction. Additional details include tonal stitching, a branded leather insole, and metal eyelets.
