• Inspired by British military trousers and dyed with a sulfur green warp, Momotaro's 1300 denim features a left hand twill weave and olive green color. Made to replicate the British Army's iconic olive-green hue, Momotaro utilizes sulfur-dyed green warp threads in combination with natural white weft threads to achieve the fabrics deep color. Momotaro's 10.5oz fabric is a lightweight left hand twill fabric designed to soften considerably with wear. Finished with a tonal inseam and white selvedge ID.

The name Momotaro is born from a famous Japanese folktale, in which a boy born from a giant peach grows up to save his village from marauding demons. The pink selvedge and inseam are an homage to the peach in this story, and the signature battle stripes represent the war flag the boy carried into battle.
