Made in collaboration with Tokyo based jewelry-maker Peace, this necklace is crafted from 925 Sterling Silver and comes adorned with Peace's signature feather silhouette in addition to a handmade concho hook and charm stamped with the two brands respective designs.
Hide Tsukamoto of Peace was mentored by legendary WING ROCK founder Riki Maezaki, who studied directly under the Navajo Tribe and was gifted a tribal name during his time in the states. Tsukamoto who also traveled to the states to study the art of Native American jewelry making, now makes Navajo inspired jewelry in his Tokyo atelier under the moniker Peace. Each piece comes handmade from start to finish with every fold and crease done purposefully by Tsukamoto himself.
With roots in near-identical reproductions of timeless American styles, founder Masahiro Shimura established Pherrow's in the early '90s as a pioneer in the "Ametora" (American- Traditional) scene often found on the streets of Harajuku. Since it's 1991 conception, Pherrow's has transformed, keeping their soul in classic Japanese-Americana, however, not limiting themselves to the conformity of carbon-copy reproduction. Creating garments beyond vintage with the desire to "make what they want", Pherrow's lends a whimsical take on classic styles.
