  • Tender's 464 shirt is a long sleeved shirt made from a 10oz cross weave denim fabric. While traditional denim features an indigo warp and ecru weft, Tender's Cross Weave fabric reverses this - using an unbleached cotton warp and Japenese indigo-dyed weft. Extra weft yarns are also stuffed into the weave, resulting in a deep color with a very textured surface. This iteration is overdyed using natural dyes, receiving its color from a wattle bark bath that has been "saddened", or darkened, with iron. The shirt is cut in a relaxed fit from three large panels with patch pockets at the front.

  • Tender is a one-man English label established in 2009 by William Kroll. Backed by decades of experience working for Evisu, Kroll's time in Japan yielded an expertise in denim development and dyeing techniques with an emphasis on small details. Each collection from Tender is hallmarked by extensive use of natural dyes and workwear silhouettes, resulting in the brand's signature "Antique Workwear" aesthetic.
Tender of England, ran by one-man operation William Kroll, creates pieces with worldwide influence filtered through personal experiences. Best described as 'Antique Workwear' and backed by decades of experience working for Evisu, Kroll spent time in Japan learning from master craftsmen how to dye indigo and construct denim, translating to Tender's extensive use of natural dyes and workwear silhouettes.
