  • The 10th installment in the Momotaro x Blue Owl Workshop collaboration series coincides with the 10 year anniversary of the Momotaro brand. This limited edition denim marks the first black denim produced by Momotaro to date. The BOM00X features Momotaro's famed Vintage Label series fabric, which is a hairy, vintage, 15.7oz fabric rich with texture. This fabric is widely regarded as one of the best aging fabrics in the world, and is beloved for its softness and durability, thanks to the 100% Zimbabwe cotton used for both warp and weft. The denim features the signature "Going to Battle" stripes in a tonal black color, which will slowly chip off and age with wear. We are proud to offer this exclusive collaboration as the 10th installment of the Momotaro x Blue Owl collaboration series.
    • The new "Natural Tapered" fit from Momotaro is a roomy fit in the top block with a healthy taper from the knee down. The denim has a high rise, extra room in the thighs.
    • "Going to Battle" stripes are a symbol of Japanese tradition representing honor and strength. The warrior stripes also represent the flag carried by "Momotaro" in the original folklore story.

The name Momotaro is born from a famous Japanese folktale, in which a boy born from a giant peach grows up to save his village from marauding demons. The pink selvedge and inseam are an homage to the peach in this story, and the signature battle stripes represent the war flag the boy carried into battle.
